Before you pick a budget
Decide what you play and on which screen. A 1080p monitor and esports games need far less than a 1440p monitor and the newest open-world games. The graphics card sets most of the frame rate, so most of the money goes there.
Memory, SSD and graphics card prices moved up a lot through 2026. The lists below are the parts we would pick at each level; each list shows what they cost today, and says so when the total has run past the budget it was planned for.
PC build under ₹50,000: 1080p high settings
This one runs new games at 1080p high and esports titles at very high frame rates. The Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB is the reason it works: 16 GB of video memory keeps textures from stuttering in new games, where 8 GB cards already struggle. The AM4 platform with DDR4 keeps the rest cheap.

ARCTIC Freezer 36 (Black) Multi Compatible Tower CPU Cooler ≈ ₹3,200
Today these parts cost more than the budget this build was planned for: memory, SSD and graphics card prices have gone up a lot. They are still the parts we'd pick at this level; the budget planner shows what fits a fixed amount today.
PC build under ₹80,000: 1440p gaming
Step up here if you have, or plan to buy, a 1440p monitor. The extra money goes into a faster graphics card and a newer platform you can upgrade later.

Where to save and where not to
- Save on the case (airflow matters more than looks), RGB, and the motherboard (a B-series board is enough for gaming).
- Do not save on the power supply. A cheap unit can take other parts with it when it fails.
- Video memory: buy 12 to 16 GB for new games. 8 GB cards are fine for esports and older titles.
- Storage: one 1 TB NVMe SSD is the sensible minimum now; games are 100 GB or more.
FAQ
Can I build a gaming PC under ₹50,000 in 2026?
Yes, for 1080p gaming. A Ryzen 5 on AM4 with DDR4 and a 16 GB graphics card like the RX 9060 XT runs new games at 1080p high. Prices change often, so check today's total on the build page or use the budget planner for a list that fits your exact amount.
Is it cheaper to build a PC than to buy a prebuilt in India?
Usually yes at the same performance, and you choose every part, so you avoid the weak power supply and single-channel memory many prebuilts ship with. Prebuilts can win during big sales.
Which graphics card is best for a ₹50,000 PC?
A 16 GB card in the RX 9060 XT class gives the most for the money at 1080p. If it pushes you over budget, an 8 GB card still plays esports and most games at medium to high settings.
