About this product

DisplayPort 2.1 Cable Gets Your Gaming, Home Theater or Digital Signage Setup 8K-Ready This high-speed DisplayPort (DP) cable (M/M) securely connects source and display devices compatible with DP 2.1 audio/video signals. Backward compatible with all your existing DisplayPort devices, including Blu-ray players, gaming/VR consoles and 4K televisions, the P580-003-8K6-2 is ideal for future-proofing your high-definition or Ultra HD application in anticipation of an 8K upgrade. It transmits 10 Gbps per lane over four lanes to provide bandwidth up to 40 Gbps for sharper resolution and brighter color. DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST) Allows Connection of Multiple Displays By connecting this cable to a source that supports DisplayPort MST mode, you may connect two 8K displays simultaneously. This allows you to display the same image on both monitors, extend your host desktop across both with different windows open on each, or combine both into one large display as a video wall. The P580-003-8K6-2 supports video extenders for connecting source and display devices over long distances.
