Why this build
Today these parts cost more than the budget this build was planned for: memory, SSD and graphics card prices have gone up a lot. They are still the parts we'd pick at this level; the budget planner shows what fits a fixed amount today. Budget planner →
No graphics card here on purpose. The Ryzen 5 5600GT has Radeon graphics built in, which is enough for Valorant, CS2, League of Legends and Dota 2 at 1080p with some settings turned down. We stayed on AM4 and DDR4 because memory prices jumped in 2025–26: 16 GB of DDR5 now costs about two and a half times as much as DDR4. Use two 8 GB sticks, not one: the built-in graphics borrow system memory and run much faster in dual channel. The cooler that comes with the 5600GT is enough for this build.
Estimated performance
- Valorant 1080p Medium≈ 90–130 FPS
- CS2 1080p Low≈ 60–90 FPS
- GTA V 1080p Normal≈ 40–55 FPS
Approximate, with the parts in this list (including its RAM setup). Real FPS changes with settings, drivers, game version and the rest of your system.
Upgrade path
Add a graphics card later, such as an RTX 5050 or RX 9060 XT. The board, memory, SSD and cabinet stay. The 450 W supply is fine for an RTX 5050; for anything bigger, check the builder's PSU suggestion first.
